Today was like a warm spring day. The doors to the trailer office were open, and then I hopped out early for an afternoon hike. I was so sore from yesterday's squats, that walking was about the only exercise I could accomplish.
We have two favorite hikes in Mount Vernon. Neither one is public, but they are nice logging roads that lead to high peaks with great views and take less than two hours total. Our number one favorite is ruined with vandalism, so we ruled that one out. Our number two just doesn't have the spectacular views, but we did it any way for the exercise.
To our surprise, they logged off more of the top and we had a perfectly clear view to the west of the Skagit Valley. It was beautiful!
Tim wore his 45# weight vest the entire way - such a stud!
