#120 Casual Saturday

#120 Casual Saturday

We slept soundly and slept in until 8:00am! I cleaned up the house before going on a walk through the country roads behind our house. Finally, I got . . .

#119 Friday Date Night

#119 Friday Date Night

Baby Marquez is at 37 weeks today, making him full term and at least 6.5 pounds. I walked to work today, and home, so that was my exercise. Things are slowing down, and I don’t feel like lifting weights much these days. Date night was dinner at Rockfish Brewery and the move La La Land. We are too old to do 9:00 movies, Tim fell asleep, and going to bed at midnight just seems so late to me!

The plumbers have been working all week, and Skagit Plumbing is a great outfit. They have a great crew, and the owner Mark is the best. He is able to accommodate all our needs and work with the new things I bring up. He is helpful in coordinating, and even got a carpenter out to help with our framing needs.

Look at that new bathtub that is going into the master bath. It is a foot longer than regular (6' instead of 5') and will be great for relaxing and future toddler baths.

Keith was at the trailer today for work, and I was really busy getting lots done. Weird to think that I just have two more weeks of work left. I feel like I still have so much to do. Our kitchen cabinet order arrived, and then we were off to errands in Mount Vernon, before heading to Bellingham for . . .

Jim (president of Forma) was at our jobsite today, so we went out to lunch at A-Town Bistro and I got my favorite fish and chips. We don’t have water at our house . . .

#116 Work Day in Seattle

#116 Work Day in Seattle

Today, Brad and I drove to Seattle for a day of preconstruction meetings. We gathered to talk about the bid manual and I made some phone calls to potential bidders.  It was nice to be in the Seattle office again and catch up with every one. I miss working there and with those great people. Sometimes I miss Seattle and everything it has to offer, but I also love our new small town.

I really like that Tim and I work at the same jobsite. The plumbers started today at our house and I am so happy to have great subcontractors working to get our home put together!

#114 More Weekend House

#114 More Weekend House

More work on the house, as I pulled up the terrible kitchen underlayment floor. It’s not the fastest of tasks, so I go slow and listen to podcasts. Tim went down in the crawlspace to . . .

I still feel a little guilty, because, what if I bleed? And then I will be in the wrong. But I don’t bleed or . . .

#112 Blood Scare

According to my blood doctor, things are dire and I could be at risk for bleeding. Having low platelets is not fun, because at 13,000, the doctors get really concerned. I feel fine . . .

#109 Real Life Binge

It usually doesn't get this bad; but I'm human too.

I love eating healthy, I really do. Eating protein and veggies makes me feel so good. I crave good food because it just makes me feel good. I love working out and it's . . .
